Air Fryer Shrimp with Chipotle Spritz

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails on or off)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Zest of 1 orange

Spice Rub:

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chipotle powder (or ancho chili powder for milder heat)
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne (or to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Chipotle Spritz King Spritz

Instructions:

Season the Shrimp

  • Toss shrimp with olive oil, lime/orange zest, and spice rub.
  • Let marinate for 10–15 minutes (optional, but worth it).

Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Set to 400°F. Let it heat for about 3–5 minutes while you prep.

Air Fry & Spritz

  • Place shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).
  • Cook for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Spritz lightly with the Chipotle Spritz King mist halfway through cooking, and again right after they’re done for max flavor pop.

Garnish & Serve

  • Finish with a final spritz, a squeeze of fresh lime, and sprinkle of chopped cilantro.
  • Optional: dust with a little extra tajín for zing.

Serving Ideas:

  • Serve over coconut rice or in warm corn tortillas with avocado and shredded cabbage.
  • Add mango salsa or grilled pineapple chunks for a tropical twist.
  • Drizzle with crema or aioli mixed with a little lime and hot sauce.
